Packaging is everything in a UAV system. The Spectre Twin's cylinders have been rotated 90 degrees about the bore axis to eliminate drag-inducing intake and exhaust conduits from the frontal area profile.

The Spectre Twin features a completely maintenance-free turbocharger and intercooler. The complete turbo/intercooler installation eliminates the need for large tuned pipes protruding from the airframe, and significantly reduces infrared and acoustic signature.
